Why Ococoa chocolates?
Ococoa chocolates are decadent, rich and intensely satisfying and include interesting, flavorful combinations and textures.
How should I care for my chocolates once they arrive?
We recommend storing our chocolate confections in an airtight container placed in a cool, dry place or at room temperature, between 65 - 69° for up to four weeks. If you must store them in the refrigerator, make sure to keep them in an airtight container, preferably in the original box, and bring them to room temperature in order to fully enjoy the flavors and textures. They will last up to two months refrigerated.
Can I custom order flavors?
Yes. In the "Comments" box in the checkout page, you can write in your selection.
What are some of the health benefits of nuts and nut butters?
Research suggests that nuts are an important part of a healthy diet for the following reasons:
- People who eat nuts regularly have lower risks of heart disease.
- Nuts are one of the best plant sources of protein.
- Nuts are rich in fiber, phytonutrients and antioxidants such as Vitamin E and selenium.
- Nuts contain low levels of saturated fats (bad fats) and high levels of unsaturated fats (good fats) which have all been shown to lower LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol).
- Nuts can help reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.
Do any of your products contain peanuts?
Yes, our Classic Peanut Butter cup contains peanuts. In addition, all of our products may contain traces of peanuts.
Do any of your products contain milk?
No. None of our products contain milk.
Do any of your products contain gluten?
No. None of our Butter Cups contain gluten.
Do you have any vegan products?
Yes. All of our Butter Cups are vegan friendly (please note our Sunflower
Honey cup contains honey)
Do you have any vegetarian products?
Yes. All of our products are vegetarian friendly.
